About
During my sophomore year of high school, I took Studio Art I, where one assignment asked us to depict an image of the Virgin Mary. Drawing from my Cuban-American heritage, I chose La Virgen de la Caridad, the patron saint of Cuba. The piece was later selected for publication in the 2018 issue of Our Lady of Lourdes Academy’s magazine, The Literati.
